However: the fact that the new "Sync messages with Google Messages" Fi feature needs to be activated from the Android Messages app - and not through a Google Fi web interface or from within the Google Fi app - is just stupid. Finally my phone does not switch to Sprint automatically anymore - my Pixel 3 did this all the time and data speeds dropped down to zero with no way to prevent the switch / select a preferred network. The "Fi does not support 5G on iPhone and we don't care" shit aside, Google Fi is not well integrated with iPhones in general. I recently switched from a Pixel 3 to an iPhone 12 Pro. ![]() but it needs to be activated through Android.
